Commercial Gas Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial catering equipment servicing, repair and installation, working with leading brands including Rational, Unox, Middleby, Welbilt and Meiko across restaurants, hotels, airports, motorway services and more. This role requires a commitment to maintaining safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Duties:
- Service, repair and install commercial catering equipment in commercial settings
- Carry out gas safety inspections, compliance checks and certification
- Diagnose and resolve faults on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment
- Adhere to all Gas Safe regulations and best practices while performing tasks
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally
- Provide on-call cover for your area as part of a rota
Requirements:
- Gas Safe registered (commercial catering categories essential)
- COMCAT 1, 3 and 5 qualifications
- CCCN1 – Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety
- Proven experience servicing and repairing commercial catering equipment
- Strong knowledge of gas systems, safety standards and regulations
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full clean driving licence
- DBS check required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- IT skills required, use of tablets and laptops

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and installations and be able to work on various commercial projects. This role requires proficiency in using power and hand tools and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Duties:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings
- Conduct annual PPM, EICR, EML, PAT & thermal imaging on commercial premises
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Effectively use power and hand tools to complete installations and repairs
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices while performing tasks
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally
- Provide on-call cover for your area as part of a rota
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role
- Full completed electrical apprenticeship (AM2), C&G 2391 (or equivalent), 18th Edition
- Ability to carry out periodic inspections to a high standard
- Valid ECS/CSCS card preferable
- Experience with PAT testing preferable
- Experience in using EasyCERT & EasyPAT
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods and safety standards
- Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
