Key Duties:

• Service, repair and install commercial catering equipment in commercial settings
• Carry out gas safety inspections, compliance checks and certification
• Diagnose and resolve faults on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment
• Adhere to all Gas Safe regulations and best practices while performing tasks
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally
• Provide on-call cover for your area as part of a rota

Requirements:

• Gas Safe registered (commercial catering categories essential)
• COMCAT 1, 3 and 5 qualifications
• CCCN1 – Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety
• Proven experience servicing and repairing commercial catering equipment
• Strong knowledge of gas systems, safety standards and regulations
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Full clean driving licence
• DBS check required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• IT skills required, use of tablets and laptops

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings
• Conduct annual PPM, EICR, EML, PAT & thermal imaging on commercial premises
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Effectively use power and hand tools to complete installations and repairs
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role
• Full completed electrical apprenticeship (AM2), C&G 2391 (or equivalent), 18th Edition
• Ability to carry out periodic inspections to a high standard
• Valid ECS/CSCS card preferable
• Experience with PAT testing preferable
• Experience in using EasyCERT & EasyPAT
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods and safety standards
• Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
