About the Role
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Reactive Electrical Engineer. The Reactive Electrical Engineer will provide reactive repairs and maintenance services to ensure that equipment is in optimal working condition. The role involves carrying out extensive testing and identifying defects, frequently in challenging commercial kitchens, and quickly resolving repairs without interrupting the client’s business. The Reactive Electrical Engineer will communicate effectively with clients to understand their unique needs and ensure the services meet their expectations.

Requirements
Experience in electrical maintenance in commercial kitchens.
Experience in diagnostic testing of electrical equipment.
Understanding of electrical schematic diagrams and documentation.
Ability to carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Fixed Appliance Testing (FAT) for electrical suitability and safety.
Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to work successfully independently and in a team environment.
Experience in the installation of electrical systems would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental Regulations, and COSHH to ensure compliance.
Educational qualification in electrical maintenance, a technical background in electrical engineering, or a closely related area would be enormously beneficial.
Satisfactory DBS check
Full UK Driving license
